Smart Scanner (Data Import)
Kaptur eliminates the tedious task of manually typing each buy or sell order. Thanks to our smart scanner, you only need to take a screenshot of the orders on your broker and import it.
Batch Upload Screenshots
If you had a very active trading session with multiple executions, you can process all your screenshots at the same time.
- Tap the Scanner button (camera icon) in the bottom navigation bar or the Dashboard.
- Use the app's image picker to choose all the screenshots of your trades.
- The images will load into the Batch Processing section, showing a list of cards with their corresponding status (Pending, Processing, or Ready).
- If you want to remove any screenshot from the import queue, simply swipe the transaction card to the left or tap the delete button.
Split Screen: Smart Fix (Interactive Correction)
Sometimes, broker screenshots can contain blurry text, non-standard abbreviations, or confusing commissions. Kaptur solves this with the Smart Fix split screen.
- Tap on a processed transaction in the import queue.
- The screen will split into two sections:
- Top Half: Displays the actual screenshot of the order ticket you uploaded, allowing you to pinch-to-zoom and drag to verify the original visual information.
- Bottom Half: Presents a form with the editable fields Kaptur extracted (Ticker, Buy/Sell Direction, Share/Contract Quantity, Price, and Commissions).
- Directly modify any data in the form that does not match the image above exactly.
- Tap Save to permanently archive the transaction in your journal.
Zero-Tap Scan (Automatic Scanning Settings)
To save as much time as possible, you can activate automatic scanning without having to open the app and search for images manually.
- Go to the Settings menu in the navigation bar.
- Turn on the Zero-Tap Scan toggle.
- Grant gallery read permission to the app when prompted.
- With this option active, whenever you take a screenshot of an order on your broker and open Kaptur, the app will silently detect the new image in your gallery and process it immediately so you only have to review it.
